Pop-up skatepark in Ashes
The Ashes will host a pop-up skatepark on Saturday October 28.
Coaches will provide free guidance to youngsters wanting to phone their skills in a safe environment. Skateboards and helmets will be provided, or youngsters can bring their own.
The session will run from 12noon until 4pm and is one of several planned over the coming week thanks to a grant from the East Riding Crime Reduction Fund.
The session will take place in the multi-use games area in the centre of the park, with hot dogs, tea and coffee available to purchase.
Ashes Playing Field Trust trustees will be in attendance to discuss the future of the park.
It is also a chance to tell Howden Town Council councillors about whether the young people of the town would use a skate park, and where it could be sited.
