Picnic In The Park back for 2019

The Ashes’ annual Picnic In The Park will be bigger and better than ever when it returns for 2019 – with four live acts confirmed for the main stage.

Reloaded will again headline the day, set for Sunday June  16, with local acts Bandana, Evie Barrand and Stuart James Wright also showcasing their skills.

People are encouraged to bring their own food and drink, but there will be a wide range of food options available on the day – including hog roast, hot dogs, hot drinks, a licensed Prosecco van with bar area and ice cream. There will be toilet facilities available on site.

There will be plenty of opportunities to keep the kids entertained between the acts with a bouncy castle and inflatable slide as well as a number of fundraising stalls for local charities and businesses.

Gates open on the main field at 12.30pm, with entrance free but visitors welcome to make a donation to the Ashes buckets around the site if they are able to.

The event is only possible thanks to support from local businesses including main sponsor HArron Homes, Howdens Joinery and the Press Association.
