Pavilion clear-up is completed
The remains of the Ashes’ iconic pavilion have now been completely removed, with the final skips taken from the site in early May 2015.
Goole-based Wilcock’s Contractors Limited removed the charred debris over a period of two weeks.
The clear-up has cost the Ashes Playing Field Trust more than £3,000 because the debris is considered contaminated, highlighting the importance of donations to the daily running of the park.
