Kevin retires after 33 years

Trustees from the Ashes Playing Field Trust made a presentation to Kevin Hall, who is hanging up his gloves after an incredible 33 years of service.

Kevin has maintained the Ashes Playing Fields in the centre of Howden since April 1986, and is looking forward to a rest as he takes up a well deserved retirement.

Trustees gathered in the park to thank Kevin for his efforts and present him with gifts, including a personalised hip flask.

Bob Fox has joined as the new Ashes groundsman, and has already started in the role after a handover period alongside Kevin.
