Help us keep the Ashes clear of litter

We are inviting local people to come down and help clear the Ashes Playing Field of litter on the evening of Tuesday June 9.

Following the success of last month’s event, organised by Howden resident Phil Parkin, he has again offered to lead another round of litter-picking.

Volunteers are asked to meet at the fruit house (the crossroads between the two main fields, the basketball/bowls area and the Manor House) at 6pm, and we expect to finish within an hour. Bin bags and gloves will be provided.
