Ashes packed out for Summerfest

Summerfest 2015 – held on Saturday July 11 – proved a great success on the Ashes, with the Ashes packed out for a major event for the second week in a row.

Spotless Mind, Molly Curtis, Clogiron Brothers and Unit 8 provided brilliant music enjoyed in the sun in front of a packed crowd who filled the extended roped off area and more.

Our thanks to everyone who performed or took time out to help put on the event, which re reckon could well have raised more than the 2014 Mayfest. All money raised will go towards the Ashes Playing Field Trust, the charity which maintains the Ashes Playing Fields in Howden.

It was the second major event on the main field in July, following on from the Howden Show on Sunday July 5.
